DEINE AUFGABEN

→ Eigenverantwortliche Leitung komplexer Projekte der Tragwerksplanung im Hoch-, Industrie- und Ingenieurbau
→ Fachliche Führung und Entwicklung von 2–3 Projektleiter:innen am Berliner Standort
→ Sicherstellung und Weiterentwicklung von Qualitäts- und Prozessstandards für den deutschen Betrieb

DEIN PROFIL

→ Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bauingenieurwesen, Schwerpunkt konstruktiver Ingenieurbau
→ Mindestens 10 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Tragwerksplanung
→ Anerkannte Fachkompetenz und Netzwerk im deutschen Markt (Bauherren, Prüfingenieur:innen, Behörden)
→ Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der fachlichen Führung von Ingenieur:innen oder Projektteams

Als Projektleiter/in in der Tragwerksplanung trägst Du die Verantwortung für Deine Projekte von der ersten Skizze bis zur Abnahme. Du führst, je nach Projekt, 1–3 Mitarbeitende am deutschen Standort, koordinierst eng mit unserem Engineering-Team in Vietnam und bist das Gesicht gegenüber Bauherren und Prüfingenieur:innen. As part of our ongoing digital transformation, we are looking for an AI & Automation Solutions Engineer at all levels — our first dedicated technical hire in this space — to build the tools, middleware, and automation that make our international operations smarter, faster, and more scalable. 

YOUR MISSION AT GBC ENGINEERS 

This is a greenfield role. You will be GBC’s first dedicated technical hire in AI and automation — and you will be comfortable with that. There is no existing technical team to hand things off to. But we do have a technically literate leadership team, an appetite for pragmatic solutions, and a growing pipeline of real use cases across the business. 

We are in an advanced stage of building middleware for our talent acquisition team. Across engineering, marketing, sales, finance, controlling, HR, and business development, there are concrete problems ready to be solved. While we work with Claude Code and keep our stack intentionally lean, we are open for your approaches to our pain points. We are pragmatic and like to keep things simple – APIs, automation, and middleware over over-engineered infrastructure. 

Depending on your experience and focus area, you will work directly with our R&D lead, strategy and operations, and/or the Board of Directors. 


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

→ Design and build AI-powered tools, automation scripts, and middleware that connect internal systems and workflows 
→ Develop and integrate LLM-based solutions into operational processes across business functions 
→ Challenge, shape, and translate functional requirements from non-technical stakeholders into working solutions 
→ Own full delivery cycles: from scoping and architecture through to implementation and deployment 
→ Identify and prototype new automation and AI use cases across talent acquisition, engineering, finance, marketing, and HR 
→ Contribute to GBC’s internal technology stack with clean, maintainable code built to last 

YOUR PROFILE 

Junior 

→ Some hands-on experience building software — personal projects, internships, or early career 
→ Solid grasp of at least one programming language (Python preferred) 
→ Genuine curiosity about AI/LLM tooling and eagerness to learn fast in a real-world environment 
→ Comfortable receiving guidance and working within well-defined functional specs 

Mid-Level 

→ 2–5 years of practical software or AI/automation development experience 
→ Proven ability to build and ship complete solutions end-to-end 
→ Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted workflow automation 
→ Comfortable working with significant autonomy and shaping requirements independently 

Senior 

→ 5+ years of experience driving complex technical solutions from functional spec to production 
→ Deep understanding of software architecture, API design, and system integration patterns 
→ Ability to own entire workstreams independently — scoping, building, iterating, and delivering 
→ Proven experience with AI/LLM integration in production environments 
→ Confident making architectural decisions and constructively challenging proposed approaches

→ Strong English communication skills — you will work directly with leadership and functional owners (including expats)

IT Operations & Support

→ Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, software systems, and end-user devices
→ Lead the IT Helpdesk operations, ensuring timely resolution of all support requests and incidents
→ Provide hands-on technical assistance to staff, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth IT service delivery
→ Manage implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of all IT systems to ensure high availability and reliability
→ Act as the primary escalation point for complex IT issues and ensure effective communication during outages or emergencies
Data Security & Systems Maintenance
→ Safeguard company data, IT assets, and networks through robust cybersecurity practices

SỨ MỆNH CỦA BẠN TẠI GBC ENGINEERS

Trong vai trò Group IT Manager, bạn sẽ dẫn dắt và củng cố hoạt động CNTT tại tất cả các địa điểm quốc tế của chúng tôi — với trọng tâm là bảo mật, hiệu quả vận hành và phát triển công nghệ. Bạn sẽ báo cáo trực tiếp cho Managing Director và phối hợp chặt chẽ với các đội ngũ tại Đức và Việt Nam.

TRÁCH NHIỆM CÔNG VIỆC

Vận hành & Hỗ trợ CNTT

→ Giám sát toàn bộ hoạt động quản lý hạ tầng CNTT, bao gồm mạng, máy chủ, hệ thống phần mềm và thiết bị người dùng cuối
→ Phụ trách vận hành bộ phận IT Helpdesk, đảm bảo mọi yêu cầu hỗ trợ và sự cố được xử lý kịp thời
→ Trực tiếp hỗ trợ kỹ thuật cho nhân sự, đảm bảo giảm thiểu thời gian gián đoạn và duy trì dịch vụ CNTT thông suốt
→ Quản lý việc triển khai, bảo trì và giám sát toàn bộ hệ thống CNTT nhằm đảm bảo tính sẵn sàng và độ ổn định cao
→ Là đầu mối xử lý escalation cho các sự cố CNTT phức tạp và đảm bảo truyền thông hiệu quả trong các tình huống gián đoạn hoặc khẩn cấp

Bảo mật dữ liệu & Bảo trì hệ thống

→ Bảo vệ dữ liệu, tài sản CNTT và mạng lưới của công ty thông qua các biện pháp an ninh mạng chặt chẽ
→ Triển khai và duy trì việc sao lưu hệ thống định kỳ, tính toàn vẹn cơ sở dữ liệu và kiểm soát quyền truy cập người dùng
→ Duy trì danh mục cập nhật của toàn bộ tài sản CNTT, bao gồm phần cứng, phần mềm và tuân thủ giấy phép sử dụng
→ Theo dõi tính toàn vẹn dữ liệu và đảm bảo tuân thủ các tiêu chuẩn bảo mật dữ liệu nội bộ cũng như quy định pháp lý

Chính sách & Chiến lược CNTT

→ Xây dựng và liên tục cải tiến các chính sách, quy trình và tài liệu CNTT nhằm hỗ trợ bảo mật dữ liệu, hiệu quả vận hành và tuân thủ
→ Kiểm toán hệ thống CNTT, xác định các điểm cần cải thiện và trình bày các giải pháp khả thi cho Ban Giám đốc
→ Chuẩn bị và trình bày báo cáo hàng tháng về hiệu suất hệ thống, kết quả kiểm toán và các sáng kiến cải tiến
→ Hỗ trợ Ban Giám đốc trong việc phát triển phần mềm quản trị và các dự án chuyển đổi số

Lãnh đạo đội ngũ & Quản lý ngân sách

→ Dẫn dắt và phát triển đội ngũ IT, bao gồm tuyển dụng, đào tạo và đánh giá hiệu suất
→ Lập kế hoạch và quản lý ngân sách CNTT hằng năm, đảm bảo hiệu quả chi phí và phân bổ nguồn lực mang tính chiến lược
→ Xây dựng văn hóa trách nhiệm, đổi mới và học hỏi liên tục trong bộ phận CNTT

YÊU CẦU ỨNG VIÊN

→ Tốt nghiệp Đại học chuyên ngành Hệ thống Thông tin, Khoa học Máy tính, Kinh doanh hoặc lĩnh vực liên quan
→ Có kinh nghiệm thực tế ở vị trí IT Manager hoặc vai trò lãnh đạo tương đương, ưu tiên trong môi trường công ty quốc tế hoặc lĩnh vực kỹ thuật

→ Develop and maintain BIM models for structural projects using market-leading BIM software, ensuring precision and efficiency

YOUR PROFILE

→ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering

TRÁCH NHIỆM CÔNG VIỆC

→ Phát triển và duy trì các mô hình BIM cho dự án kết cấu bằng các phần mềm BIM hàng đầu trên thị trường, đảm bảo độ chính xác và hiệu quả
→ Phối hợp chặt chẽ với kỹ sư kết cấu, kiến trúc sư và các nhóm đa chuyên ngành để tích hợp mô hình kết cấu vào tổng thể thiết kế dự án
→ Triển khai và thể hiện chi tiết các mô hình và bản vẽ 2D/3D của các cấu kiện kết cấu như bê tông cốt thép (đổ tại chỗ và bê tông đúc sẵn) và kết cấu thép
→ Đảm bảo tất cả mô hình và bản vẽ tuân thủ các tiêu chuẩn dự án, quy chuẩn ngành và yêu cầu chất lượng
→ Thực hiện clash detection và đưa ra các đề xuất liên quan đến BIM nhằm nâng cao chất lượng thiết kế

YOUR PROFILE

→ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
→ 0–3 years of experience in engineering, infrastructure design, coordination, or project management (fresh graduates with strong motivation are welcome)
→ Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines
→ Solid understanding of infrastructure terminology (bridges, retaining structures, foundations, drainage, earthworks, etc.)
→ Good command of English (written and spoken) — German is an advantage

→ Hỗ trợ Project Manager trong việc lập kế hoạch, tổ chức và theo dõi các dự án hạ tầng
→ Điều phối thông tin dự án giữa Việt Nam và Đức, đảm bảo giao tiếp thông suốt và cập nhật kịp thời
→ Chuẩn bị, rà soát và quản lý hồ sơ dự án, bao gồm tiến độ, báo cáo, log, biên bản họp và các tài liệu kỹ thuật gửi đi
→ Hỗ trợ theo dõi tiến độ dự án, các deliverables, rủi ro và các mốc thời gian quan trọng

YOUR MISSION AT GBC ENGINEERS

As Design Manager, you will lead the implementation and coordination of structural and BIM engineering design across our Vietnam division. Working closely with Project Managers and the Division Head, you will be the technical authority on projects — ensuring quality, compliance, and innovation from concept through delivery. You will also play a pivotal role in developing the next generation of engineers at GBC.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

→ Participate in the management and execution of engineering projects; support Project Managers in meetings and respond to technical queries with authority
→ Define scope of service, estimate effort, break down tasks into work packages, and assist PMs in planning and scheduling design activities
→ Monitor project progress, track hours against budget, manage resource allocation, and coordinate with PMs to ensure smooth and timely delivery of all deliverables
→ Own all technical solutions within assigned projects — providing expert guidance and innovative answers to complex engineering challenges
→ Review and approve engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards

Qualifications & Experience

→ Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
→ Minimum 3–5 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior engineering role
→ Track record of managing design teams and delivering complex projects on time and to standard

Technical Expertise

→ Experience with BIM tools and modern structural engineering software

Trong vai trò Design Manager, bạn sẽ dẫn dắt việc triển khai và điều phối công tác thiết kế kết cấu và BIM trong toàn bộ division tại Việt Nam. Làm việc chặt chẽ với Project Manager và Division Head, bạn sẽ đóng vai trò là chuyên gia kỹ thuật chính trên các dự án — đảm bảo chất lượng, tuân thủ và đổi mới xuyên suốt từ giai đoạn ý tưởng đến khi bàn giao. Đồng thời, bạn cũng giữ vai trò quan trọng trong việc phát triển thế hệ kỹ sư tiếp theo tại GBC.

TRÁCH NHIỆM CÔNG VIỆC

→ Tham gia quản lý và triển khai các dự án kỹ thuật; hỗ trợ Project Manager trong các cuộc họp và trả lời các vấn đề kỹ thuật một cách chuyên sâu
→ Xác định phạm vi công việc, ước tính khối lượng, phân chia thành các gói công việc và hỗ trợ PM trong lập kế hoạch và tiến độ thiết kế
→ Theo dõi tiến độ dự án, kiểm soát giờ công so với ngân sách, quản lý phân bổ nguồn lực và phối hợp với PM để đảm bảo bàn giao đúng hạn và hiệu quả
→ Chịu trách nhiệm về toàn bộ giải pháp kỹ thuật trong các dự án được phân công — cung cấp định hướng chuyên môn và giải pháp sáng tạo cho các vấn đề kỹ thuật phức tạp

→ Thu thập phản hồi từ khách hàng thông qua Project Manager và thúc đẩy cải tiến liên tục về chất lượng dịch vụ và sản phẩm kỹ thuật
→ Triển khai các biện pháp kiểm soát chất lượng chặt chẽ và thực hiện audit kỹ thuật định kỳ nhằm duy trì tiêu chuẩn đồng nhất trên tất cả các dự án

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Division Manager to lead our Engineering Division in Vietnam and drive project excellence through effective leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for innovation.

Position: Division Manager (Engineering Division)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Reports to: Technical Director / Group Director
Employment Type: Full-time

🔹Key Responsibilities

 Project Management

• Lead and oversee end-to-end project delivery within your division, ensuring all milestones meet timeline, budget, and quality targets.

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, resources, schedules, budgets, and risk management.

• Monitor project performance, resolve technical and contractual issues, and ensure client satisfaction.

• Conduct regular project meetings (internal and external) to align stakeholders and track progress.

• Prepare and submit project completion reports and performance summaries.

 Division Operations & Administration

• Manage the overall operation of the Engineering Division, including BIM, C&S, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.

• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, productivity standards, and quality objectives.

• Oversee division administration, reporting, and inter-department coordination to maintain operational efficiency.

• Monitor and analyze Odoo project records to ensure accurate task tracking and reporting.

 People Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop Design Managers and their teams to achieve technical excellence and professional growth.

• Plan and allocate project resources effectively based on workload and skill requirements.

• Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and coordinate skill development programs.

• Foster a collaborative and motivating team culture built on respect, accountability, and innovation.

 Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

• Drive improvements in company workflows and operational procedures.

• Collaborate closely with other divisions, clients, and external partners to ensure seamless coordination.

• Support company-wide initiatives to enhance project delivery, quality control, and digital transformation.

🔹Requirements

 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in design and engineering, including at least 1 year in a management role within a structural design firm.

 Essential Skills

• Excellent English communication (verbal and written).

• Strong leadership, people management, and organizational skills.

• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex projects under tight deadlines.

• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, time, and risk management capabilities.

• Culturally adaptable with experience in cross-department and client coordination.

• Reliable, professional, and self-driven with a positive, collaborative mindset.

 Desired Skills

• Experience in project management and leadership training.

• Proficiency with digital management tools (e.g., Odoo, BIM systems).

• Background in engineering consultancy or international project environments is a plus.
