The FRA 3 data center comprises three upper floors and two basement levels, with data halls and office spaces above ground and technical and storage areas below. A rooftop steel structure supports the cooling units, bringing the building to a maximum height of 25 m.
gbc engineers provides structural engineering and BIM services for the FRA03 Data Center in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Our scope covers structural design at work stages LP3/4–5, workshop design for precast elements, as-built drawings, and BIM services. The project has a gross floor area of approximately 29,900 m² and an IT capacity of 33 MW.
